STAR OF HOPE BUILDING, VINALHAVEN, MaINE

The Star of Hope Foundation was very fortunate to have Casey Leonard and Tom Albertson of Rockport Building Partners as our primary building contractor for the Star of Hope Phase 1 rescue and stabilization project. In addition to the quality of their work, we were impressed with their calm, thoughtful, professional and extremely collaborative approach for the duration of this complex 16-month project. 

Rockport Building Partners was proactive in solving many challenges, including significant dynamic planning and execution of work during the most difficult months of the COVID-19 pandemic.  Their project planning allowed for the work to progress without delays to a timely completion. The carpentry team and associated trades brought a high level of craftsmanship and pride to the project. 

On top of this, they handled the logistical challenges of working on an island 10 miles from the mainland with great efficiency. The team also proved to be cooperative with the Vinalhaven community which was an important aspect to maintaining good relations for the Star of Hope Foundation with all island residents.

The bottom line is if you want someone to be as passionate and committed to your project as you are….these are your guys.  We strongly recommend RBP to anyone considering a project for their home or business.
